Orders now handled by third party business
Starting July 1st 2022, I am no longer shipping the pedals myself
Reuss is still a part-time business, or a hobby, as my wife puts it because I keep a fulltime day job on the side, and it has reached a point where I can no longer keep up.
Packing pedals and issuing DHL waybills have stolen an ever increasing amount of my time, leaving too little time to be creative.
So from July 1st 2022, my stock of completed pedals are stocked at a very large 'third party order fulfillment service' business in Copenhagen. A business which is specialized in handling webshops.
When an order comes in, they pick, pack and ship the pedal. Orders coming in on weekdays until 2:00 PM are shipped the same day.
Because the business is a huge shipper, they have great rates (better than I had), which will be a benefit for you, the customer. Also, for some shiping destinations there will be different shipping options to choose from.
This new arrangement also means the shop will no longer be closed when I am on holiday or if I am out of town. Or too busy, like back in November 2021 when I closed for three weeks to catch up on Plasmatron orders.
On the downside, it means the end of personalised greeting cards from me with the pedals. I am sorry about that, but in the big picture, this change is a benefit and a step forward for both you and I. A win-win situation.
