Reuss Octaviaze

A very vintage correct Octavia pedal, handcrafted exclusively with old fashioned through-hole parts. Features a pair of rare new old stock Tungsram brand germanium diodes

The Reuss Octaviaze pedal is actually identical to the Muzzbox model (Warren Ellis signature pedal), the only difference being the clipping diodes, which are silicons in the Muzzbox.

When I first introduced this model, back in 2018, it featured germanium transistors (which a vintage Octavia never did), which was a pretty cool, and great sounding, experiment, but these nine new pedals are made with silicons. This makes the 2026 edition Octaviaze a true-to-the-vintage-circuit Octavia-type pedal. And an damned fine sounding one at that. Completely handmade in the European union, exclusively with old fashioned 'through hole' parts.

The 2026 pedals features 'chickenhead' knobs to distinguish them from the 2018 germanium transistor version.

This is an incredibly limited edition, and an amazing value at the 199.95 EUR (plus VAT in the EU) I am offering it for. The pedals are signed and numbered by hand.

Inside the Octaviaze (2018 version with germanium transistors):

- We managed to fit an audio transformer in there, despite the tiny size of the pedal. This is probably the smallest pedal ever containing a full Octavia circuit.
